Hi, Linda. I don’t know if this is where I should put this – years of reading TWOP makes me apprehensive about putting comments in the wrong place – but during a lull at work, I decided to check out your portfolio and saw the Colin and the ox excerpt highlighted and had to read it again. I found the ox section and all these years later, you moved me to tears and belly laughs. Thank you so much for the laughter you have provided and I am so glad I have thingswhatthings to read regularly. Keep up the great writing and good luck on the root canal. I had a crown that got old and the root canal only hurt my bank account.

Is the situation at TWOP going to unravel (in my opinion, the new layout is atrocious, and looks like something from the CW website) such that old SURVIVOR recaps are going to disappear? Do you have them archived elsewhere or should I print them out if I want to re-read them?

I have my Word files, but those recaps belong to Bravo now, and I wouldn’t be able to republish them. I honestly have no idea what the situation is over there these days; your guess is as good as mine. I think anything you’d be really, really upset not to have anymore, you should save yourself, but that’s true of anything, really.

Thanks for wasting 2 hours of your life on High School Musical. I have a young niece who has been over the moon about the silly thing since it came out, so I figured I’d watch it some time. How bad could it be? If I had the choice between watching it again or roto-rooting my entire plumbing system with my hands, I’d be elbow deep in shit right now. But your recap at least tempered the horror of it; wish I’d read it *before* watching the actual movie, tho.

I’m am so happy to have found you again! A tomatonation.com link led me here. As a loyal follower of your recaps, I had been missing your voice and your wit over on the now dull as dishwater twop. However, I didn’t realize just how much I’d been missing your writing until I got here and found myself, once again, snorting and snickering at my desk at work, trying in vain to keep quiet while reading your posts. It dawned on me that it had been several months since I had last had the furtive work giggles. How sad is that?
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the moments of joy you bring to your readers! Now I no longer have to try and stop myself from thinking “Oh, I wonder what Miss Alli will think of that!” while watching Survivor. And I shudder to think what watching TAR without you would have been like…

I followed your link here a few weeks ago when you left TWoP. I admit, I just peeked and didn’t explore as much as I should have. Well, that ended today, as I came across your recap of Ozzy’s booting. I must say it was a treat to read, and the pictures are a nice touch, too. I will be back.
Two questions before I go:
1. Will you be recapping TAR when it comes back? I can’t imagine anyone else doing those recaps.
2. Can we still call you as Miss Alli? I don’t think I can get used to Linda after all of these years.

So glad to find you — can’t say much more than you’ve been my favorite-est writer for TWoP forever. My husband would take bets on whether Miss Alli would approve or not on a gien piece of gameplay. Sorry you left, but can’t blame you, the site is complete crap now. Good luck freelancing, I can’t imagine you’d be hard up for work. Can you recap TAR here? Please?

I wish you had spent more time skewering Ayelet Waldman, just on general principles. She bugs me.
