I'm a bit late to the discussion... as a longtime fan, I wanted to wish you well for your recovery.

And when you are ready and able to write again...I can't speak for anyone else, but as much as I laugh my way through your moment-by-moment recaps, it's your thoughtful analysis that I have always appreciated in particular. I've found your observations are always pretty insightful, either in articulating something I can't really express myself, or in making me look at things in a different way. That's a gift.

And whenever or wherever you're able to share that gift is fine by me. Get well soon!

Oh, Linda, this is wonderful news, both regarding your improved wrist and your plan to do more recaps eventually. From a reader's viewpoint, it's actually kinda cool to get one or more recaps from another season--we get your take on a whole new group of contestants. I'm so glad I thought to stop by here today!

Don't jeopardize your recovery for us; recurring injuries truly suck. We'll be happy to get recaps whenever they appear!

"(You can watch it on CBS.com, but their player is, like, MURDEROUSLY bad.)"

Sometimes, Youtube is a wonderful thing. Of course, I'm not at all going to tell you the identity of a guy who links to all of TAR and Survivor. Really. Because that would be bad. Or something. (Email me instead ;))

You are one of my favorite writers on the internet and I read everything you write on Monkey See. I read your charity recaps last year even though I gave up on the show after you stopped writing for TWOP. Keep up the great work!

Linda! Yay! I, too, am glad you are on the mend, and am overjoyed to see you back here, period. (I've also had a repetitive motion wrist injury--yeouch.) @Rev Matt and @GracieGirl said it best about Recaps, Unnecessariness (but Welcomeness) Of.

I remain a huge fan of your writing (and of you, as represented by it).

Just wanted to say that I agree 100% with Rev. Matt above. I am glad you are on the mend especially from an injury that directly impacts your ability to work. I'm still getting updates from the various teachers through Donor's Choose and that is more than enough for me.

I'm just glad to hear you're feeling better. I for one am grateful for whatever recappage or other analysis you can do and don't think you should feel pressured to do more than you can comfortably manage.

Oh, man, Linda - yuck! I'm so sorry to hear about your trouble. As a generally healthy person who is now in the midst of an uncomfortable and worrying (albeit not life-threatening) medical situation, I know how much brain space this sort of thing can take up. It's hard to get the daily have-to's done, let alone anything above and beyond. I'm really glad to hear that you seem to be on the mend and will be sending thoughts of health and comfort out to your joints! And if you get back to the recaps, great. If not, I'll continue to enjoy your work over at Monkey See.

Ice is really helpful for repetitive strain injuries, as is stretching. Here's some good ones you can do throughout the day: http://www.shelterpub.com/_fitness/_office_fitness_clinic/OFC_hwf.html

You're one of my favorite writers out there* so I want you to be able to type away pain free for many, many years to come.

* I was delighted when you linked to Michelle Collins at Best Week Ever a few days ago. She's at the top of my list as well, though with a VERY different style from you.
